The way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.

God chooses foolish things to confound human wisdom.

…there is a true inward journey and a myriad of false ones. The true inward journey is simple, “I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

There is one life source to the people of God and that was and is to always be Jesus Christ, and He’s not a concept nor is He impotent, but the Person of Light, Life and Glory.

We must understand that something profound was bound up in Adam – authority… and that to no small degree. Adam was given dominion over the entire earth and placed upon it as a steward. This means the fate of creation was directly linked to his choices.

Do we possess a faith that is worth testing?… a liberty worth spying out?!

Too many, even within what calls itself “the church,” approach belief from a natural understanding, but for the disciple of Christ, it should take on a whole new meaning.

The dwelling place of God is not a psychological experience. Much of the western Church is plagued with confusion between the presence of God and a psychological experience.

We don’t much like absolutes in the modern church. We’ve traded away the binary nature of black and white for a more confused, if not more tolerable, gradient of grays.

In the modern church, we have a real problem distinguishing between the true Voice of God as Moses would have heard and our own psychological voice of god. In many cases, we are simply hearing our own selves, not God.

The Almighty had set His gaze upon Abraham, and He was not about to turn away. His hand of Grace had seized the man’s heart, and He was about to flex. Instead of backing off, God doubled down. It was time to initiate covenant with the man.

There are many things that can provide me with a sense of catharsis, even pseudo-spiritual things. If we’re in pain, stress, anxiety or otherwise, we start seeking catharsis.
